Dealing with rationing, separation of families and loss of loved ones, confirming how music and songs got people through the darkest days. Radio was central to people’s lives – dominated by war reports but also sharing the stars and music of the time. So come along and join in with all of those wonderful inspirational people – The Andrews Sisters, Rob Wilton, Winston Churchill, Tommy Handley and many, many more. Don’t forget your flags….!
